Specifically designed for fixing materials such as gypsum boards, light-weight partition walls, ceiling suspended ceilings, and light steel keels, they serve as the "invisible backbone" connecting various light-weight panels with their precise structural design and robust adaptability. From home decoration to commercial space construction, these seemingly small fasteners actually shoulder the crucial mission of ensuring flat walls and stable structures.

The core advantages of drywall screws stem from their targeted structural design. The head adopts a cup-shaped, pan-head, or flat-head design: the cup-shaped head facilitates bearing joint compound, while the flat-head achieves a seamless fit, both providing a flat foundation for subsequent wall treatment. The shank design is a masterstroke, available in two specifications: double-thread fine teeth and single-thread coarse teeth. Double-thread fine teeth with dense threads are suitable for connecting gypsum boards to metal keels with a thickness of no more than 0.8mm, offering higher tightening efficiency; single-thread coarse teeth with rugged threads have stronger biting force, making them an ideal choice for fixing gypsum boards to wooden keels. The tip features a long rhombus design with high sharpness and penetration, paired with common sizes 12-13, enabling quick drilling into substrates without damaging the boards. The standard thickness of 3.5mm strikes a perfect balance between hardness and flexibility.

To adapt to different usage environments, the surface treatment technology of drywall screws is constantly upgrading. Mainstream coatings on the market include uncoated bright finish, cement coating, phosphating coating, bluing treatment, and electro-galvanizing. Among them, galvanized and epoxy-coated products offer excellent rust and corrosion resistance, specifically designed for humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens; for ordinary indoor scenarios, phosphated or blued products can be selected, balancing cost-effectiveness and practicality. In the production process, drywall screws undergo multiple processes including raw material selection, wire drawing, high-temperature annealing, cold heading and thread rolling, and heat treatment. The combination of high-quality steel and precise heat treatment technology makes their hardness far exceed that of ordinary self-tapping screws, enabling them to fix not only soft materials such as wood and plastic but also harder substrates like aluminum plates and thin iron sheets, covering most decorative construction scenarios.

Choosing and installing drywall screws correctly is crucial to ensuring decoration quality. For size selection, follow the principle of "board thickness + 10-15mm": 12mm thick gypsum boards match 25-35mm drywall screws, while 40-50mm long screws are required for fixing to light steel keels. Common sizes such as 3.516, 3.525, and 3.5*35 can basically meet the needs of most conventional scenarios. During installation, use a lithium-ion drill with torque adjustment and a dedicated bit, controlling the speed at 1000-1500 rpm. Keep the bit perpendicular to the board at 90° to ensure the screw head sinks 0.5-1mm into the board surface to form a smooth pit, neither piercing the paper surface nor protruding. Positioning and layout also follow rules: nails should be no less than 15mm from the edge of the board, the spacing between nails in the middle of the board should be controlled within 300mm, joints should adopt symmetrical distribution, and the overall arrangement should be staggered in a plum-blossom pattern, which can effectively disperse stress and prevent board deformation.
